In certain situations, you might be delegated to purchase, collect or spend money on behalf of Baianat.

When doing  that you need to comply with our financial integrity guidelines. Use your best judgment while spending and know the expenditure limits allowed. You can only spend money when there is an urging business need and the costs are worth the benefits.

When comparing costs to benefits, you should look for quality, after service, reliability, sustainability any terms and conditions provided to you while buying and the legality of this purchase.

These rules apply when entering a new partnership, renewing contracts or subscriptions, signing new business agreement or hiring a new 

Team leaders have an extra duty to ensure that the company money is well spent by their direct reports, approve expenditure  and check quarter budgets are in place and never exceed the reasonable allowed limits.

Spending money

Signing a contract

When doing that, the responsible should strive get the best offers for Baianat. While price is the main factor, other things might affect your your final decision like quality, service, reliability and terms and conditions of the deal. In case you have any concerns, always refer to the finance team for further instructions.

Retaining records

There is a limit for keeping documents whether electronic or in a paper form. This limit shall never exceed the agreed upon limitations in order to save storage for more recent documents. When faced by illegal activities, we expect Baianat teams to report immediately. However, money laundering can be unobvious sometimes. That’s why when seeing unusual activity, report it immediately o the legal team.

  • Clients who avoid record keeping and provide incomplete information.

Bribery

In everyday operations, you may be asked to accept or give a bribe in order to get some business operations done. Under all the circumstances, don’t. Baianat is a company that enjoys a prestigues reputation that is built over its authenticity and violating the bribery laws can cause severe damages to our company. Regardless of the country laws or traditions, payment of a bribe is prohibited for us. Stick to the anti-bribery and anti- corruption laws and never promise, accept or pay anything of value to influence the judgment or actions of others. Bribe can take many forms, like a gift, a prestigious job offer, a trip or a charitable contribution. All these can be a bribe if offered in exchange for a special treatment. Before giving a present to any government officials, make sure that you comply with our necessary procedures. If the offer is permitted, keep the recordings updated with the incurred expenses.

Facilitations for speeding up government routine are also forbidden and should not be paid regardless of the customs of the country or the amount paid.
